The Educational Technology program prepares you for positions and leadership roles as technology specialist and instructional designers in higher education, corporate settings as well as in public and private schools and human services. There are four tracks to meet your specific needs; you can combine the core Educational Technology courses with existing courses in the Adult and Higher Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or Business Administration. A concertation in education technology will allow you to gain expertise in technology integration and respond to the increasing demand for professionals with skills in education technology and digital learning environments. The four tracks available through this 30-hour program are: • Master of Education in Educational Technology • Master of Education in Educational Technology with a concentration in Business • Master of Education in Educational Technology with a concentration in Adult and Higher Education • Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Educational Technology

Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in ESL (English as a Second Language)/TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) (completely online) Do you know • English Language Learners (ELLs) are the fastest growing demographic in American public schools? • Texas has the 3rd largest number of ELLs, only next to California and Florida? • Houston contains the nation’s 3rd -largest Hispanic population, 7th largest African American population, and 7th largest Asian population: A large non-native-English-speaking population need you to work with them at all school levels and in all settings.
