Event Description
Members of the Greater Houston business community are invited to this free event to hear Mr. Heber S. Lacerda, President and CEO of Regency Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers Inc., a conglomerate of over 100 limited partnerships, speak at UHV's upcoming Distinguished Speaker event, held at UH Sugar Land.

In 2011 healthcare spending in the U.S. totalled 17.9% of GDP. In Texas healthcare accounts for over $70 billion of GDP. Last year the healthcare industry added 42,100 jobs in Texas, at a rate that was faster than the overall state employment growth.
