Come join the Texas Association of School Personnel Administrators for the fall conference in Austin. The Fall Conference will open Sunday afternoon with two seminars: Creditable Years of Service & Service Records, presented by Maria Brunetti, TEA Program Specialist, and Educator Certification Update, presented by Geronima Brady and Sherisse Reyes, TEA Credentialing Specialists. Noted attorney Katrina Grider will open the First General Session/Dinner Sunday evening with “Background Checks, Social Media, and Other Arresting Developments.” Veteran communications and public relations professional, Brad Domitrovich will be the keynote speaker for our final General Session. The title of his presentation is, “It’s All About the Smile.” Monday will have topic sessions related to the everyday responsibilities and activities of the human resources department including TRS, TEA/SBEC and DOL updates as well as district best practices. There will be information that everyone needs to start their school year off right.
